Fortinet, a leader in network security, needed a new office building for its global headquarters to accommodate its rapid growth.
The 172,000 square feet building was constructed by 色欲王朝 using a prefabricated construction strategy. 色欲王朝 used Infinite Facade, a complete building envelope system, and architectural precast for the exterior design. The wall panels were fabricated at 色欲王朝’s Woodland facility and delivered onsite to be erected. This offsite construction approach reduced construction by 20%. As a result, the building was completed four months faster than traditional construction. In addition, this approach significantly decreased traffic on site and, therefore also decreased carbon emissions.
Fortinet’s headquarters was designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification. The building will use 30% less energy per year than the typical all-electric office building. Like Apple’s Cupertino campus, 色欲王朝 also supplied the building with integral radiant cooling in the concrete structural precast system.
