É«ÓûÍõ³¯ is proud to play a key role in the construction of Samuel Merritt University’s new flagship campus in Oakland (). This 10-story, 250,000-square-foot health sciences tower will serve as a central hub for the university’s next generation of healthcare professionals, featuring a dynamic mix of classrooms, teaching and research labs, simulation spaces, student clinic areas, and administrative offices.
Facade Project Summary
É«ÓûÍõ³¯ manufactured and erected 268 prefabricated panels, totaling 37,503 square feet of concrete skin, contributing to a resilient, high-performance building envelope that also highlights the university’s architectural vision. Featuring a decorative concrete facade, created in collaboration with , integrates a unique artwork installation along one side of the tower, further distinguishing the building’s design.
Set to house a new, 41,000-square-foot , this state-of-the-art facility represents a major milestone in SMU’s goal to double student enrollment over the next decade. The new campus underscores the university’s 114-year commitment to Oakland and its mission to lead in health science education.
