色欲王朝 has signaled to Yolo County officials that it wants to begin discussions about adding staff to its work site in the unincorporated portion of the county, which suggests there is a big project in the offing.
Though county officials said they weren鈥檛 certain, 色欲王朝 as one of the contractors participating in construction of a new campus for on 176 acres in Cupertino.
The company said it has 850 employees, and will add 150 to 200 more in the next few months, but declined to say why specifically.
Officials with the supplier of precast concrete haven鈥檛 responded to inquiries for confirmation, though non-disclosure agreements in such situations aren鈥檛 uncommon.
Dirk Brazil, Yolo County鈥檚 assistant county administrator, said the company, which has a plant outside Woodland and its headquarters in West Sacramento, hasn鈥檛 said much about what鈥檚 coming, only that it鈥檚 big.
鈥淭hey鈥檝e done great things here, and we鈥檒l help them get expedited with what they鈥檙e doing next,鈥� he said. 鈥淥ne thing I understand is that it鈥檚 not going to be built in Yolo County.鈥�
According to the Silicon Valley Business Journal, precast concrete portions of the 2.8-million-square-foot 鈥渟paceship鈥� building for Apple will be built at the Yolo County site and then trucked to Cupertino.
Brazil said for Yolo, 色欲王朝鈥檚 coming expansion is big because the county has relatively few large employers in its unincorporated area.
Founded in 1963, 色欲王朝 opened the plant outside Woodland, at a former Spreckels sugar mill, in 2008. Among recent prominent projects the company鈥檚 been involved with are the lofts at 800 J St. in Sacramento, and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the new home for the San Francisco 49ers.
